I offer my customers bespoke Polish language services, where my expertise helps them grow their businesses both on- and off-line through my translations of marketing materials, websites, presentations and other important documents.

I also help individual clients bridge the gap between Polish and English in their everyday life by translating their documents and certificates, not to mention the occasional wedding vow or grandpa’s war memoir. These things matter to my clients and I always strive to do a good job for them.

Trained to master’s degree level in translation and an associate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, I have been actively involved in this vibrant profession since 2011 and have worked on dozens of projects, from translation, proofreading and editing, to subtitling, dubbing and online marketing. (See some examples here.)

I never really stop learning, either, which means that I’m always pretty busy either employing my skills, or honing them, but guess what? I love it!

I’m also a great believer in helping others, which is why I offer my services free of charge to various charities, e.g. through Translators Without Borders and The Rosetta Foundation.

If you think I might be a good match for your needs, just use the form below to get in touch.

Here’s a sneak preview of what I’ve been posting most recently:

On Facebook

Ze smutkiem przekazuję dalej wiadomość o śmierci Wandy Chotomskiej, autorki wspaniałych wierszy dla dzieci, w tym mojego ulubionego "Kurczę blade". A że reprezentuję branżę tłumaczeniową, to oto powiązany z nią wierszyk Jej autorstwa:

Wanda Chotomska

Kaczka-tłumaczka

Do redakcji “Płomyczka”
przyszła kaczka-tłumaczka
i przywiozła walizkę
rękopisów na taczkach.
Pan redaktor się skłonił,
musnął wąsy i baczki,
najpierw spojrzał na kaczkę,
potem zerknął na taczki
i zapytał uprzejmie:
- Pani książki tłumaczy?
Z angielskiego na polski?
- Nie. Z gęsiego na kaczy.
- Coo? Z gęsiego na kaczy?
W głowie mi się nie mieści!
Gdyżby gęsi i kaczki
też pisały powieści?
- Oczywiście, że piszą,
a ja właśnie tłumaczę
każde gęsie "gę-gę-gę"
na "kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa" - kacze.
Proszę oto jest próbka -
niech pan w piśmie zamieści
tłumaczenie na kaczy
ślicznej gęsiej powieści:
"Kwaś kwakała w kwastwinie"
tak się powieść zaczyna...
Pan redaktor osłupiał:
- Kwaś? Kwakała? Kwastwina?
Co to znaczy?
- To proste!
Wciąż pan nie wie, co znaczy?
"Gęś gęgała w gęstwinie"
w tłumaczeniu na kaczy.
